In the video I have used mortar and pestle, however you can replace it with mixie. The icepops are made from zipzicle. You can check my other recipes with zipzicles under this link.

Recipe: Murungakeerai Neer Mor & Ice Pops | Moringa Leaves Buttermilk & IcePops
Preparation Time :  10 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Cooling Time : 10 minutes
Freezing Time : 6 hours
Yields : 1 cup

Ingredients (Refer Video)
Moringa Leaves / Murunga Keerai – ½ cup
Hot water – As needed
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Coriander leaves – 1 small bunch
Salt – to taste
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Yogurt – 1/2 Cup
Lemon Juice – 2 tsp

Preparation
1.       Remove the stem from moringa leaves and take out the leaves.
2.       Wash leaves and take ½ cup tightly packed.
3.       Add hot water to it and close it for 20 minutes.
4.       After 20 minutes, check if the leaves are cooked by tasting a couple of leaves.
5.       Strain the leaves and preserve the water.
6.       Grind together, moringa leaves, ginger, cumin seeds, salt to a fine paste.
7.       Add the paste to the preserved water.
8.       Mix yogurt and lemon juice and blend well.
9.       Transfer it to a Popsicle mould and free for 6 hours. Alternatively, this can be consumed as a buttermilk.

Notes
1.       While adding the moringa leaves paste to the preserved water, the water must be in room temperature and not hot.
2.       In the video  the paste is prepared using mortar pestle, it can be replaced with mixie.

Measurements
1 tsp = 5ml
1 tblsp – 15 ml
1 cup = 200 ml
