This post is about “Dates & Tamarind Chutney” and Green chutney. Making it as a separate post as it is easier for reference.


Dates Tamarind Chutney
Soak Time: 10 mins | Preparation Time: 5 mins | Cooking Time: 8 mins
Gas : Low|Yields – ¾ cup
Ingredients
Dates – 15
Tamarind – small lemon size
Chili powder – ¼ tsp
Chat masala – ¼ tsp
Cumin Powder – ¼ tsp
Water – 100 ml
Measurements
1 tsp = 5ml
1 tblsp – 15 ml
1 cup = 237 ml
Preparation
1.       Soak dates and tamarind. Remove the seeds from dates and tamarind.
2.       Blend all the ingredients.

3.       Take a pan and add the blended ingredients, little water and heat until the water is absorbed and it is slightly thick.

Green Chutney
Preparation Time: 5 mins | Blending Time: 5 mins
Yields – ¾ cup
Ingredients
Coriander – 2 cups
Mint – 1 cup
Ginger – 2 inches
Green chili – 2
Lemon juice – 15 ml
Salt as needed
Water – 15- 20 ml
Measurements
1 tsp = 5ml
1 tblsp – 15 ml
1 cup = 237 ml
Preparation
1.       Wash and cut coriander leaves roughly.
2.       Blend all ingredients except lemon juice to a nice paste.

3.       Take out and squeeze lemon juice.
